Importance of Water

One of the main reason for presence of living organism on earth is Water. Without breathing, humans can live few hours and Without water, humans would die in a few days. Water is the major element in the human body, it makes up more than two-thirds of the weight of the human body. Human beings good health depends on how well he is on Water Diet.

Here is a list of functions of water in Human body

  • Water carries nutrients to our cells.
  • Water aids digestion by forming stomach secretions.
  • Water regulates the body temperature through perspiration.
  • Water keeps our moisture-rich organs (our skin, eyes, mouth, and nose) functioning well.
  • Water serves as a lubricant and is the basis of saliva and the fluids surrounding the joints.
  • Water helps prevent and alleviate constipation by moving food through the intestinal tract.
  • Water plays a crucial role in disease prevention, as the deprivation of water colors lead to failure of cell or organ functions which could lead to diseases.

Our kidneys are fantastic waste removers; they get rid of the waste products from protein metabolism --uric acid, urea, and lactic acid -- but they need lots of water to accomplish this. The kidneys also balance the fluids and electrolytes in our bodies so that our systems run smoothly. If the kidneys don't get the water they need to perform these filtering functions, our health deteriorates rapidly.
  • Many doctors believe that proper hydration can help prevent chronic joint diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, because water reduces inflammation and promotes cartilage health.

  • Keep a pitcher of water near your work space so that you are constantly reminded to drink during the day.
  • Avoid drinks with caffeine or alcohol, which have a dehydrating effect.

Importance of Breathing

Breathing is the primary function of human body which keeps him alive. This signifies the importance of breathing, we are alive till we are breathing and we are dead once we stop breathing. But we hardly ever notice that we are breathing, breathing normally happens mechanically. You may ask me why should I know about breathing when it is automatically taken care off. Yes, it is automatically happening, but that is the problem, when breathing happens without our consciousness, it gets affected by our emotions and most of the time we will be doing shallow breathing. Our emotions vary across the day, getting angry, always in a hurry, sad etc. In turn during these emotions our mind works more on emotions and forgets breathing, when breathing is neglected it often becomes shallow and abnormal. At any point if we just observe our breathing we will know what state of mind we are in, we are at peace or going through a problem or trouble. If we are at peace or joyous our breathing will be normal,

Becoming does not contain Being

Ambition in any form for spiritual achievement is action postponed.    Desire is ever of the future; the desire to become is inaction in the present.  The now has greater significance than the tomorrow.  In the now is all time and to understand now is to be free of time.  Becoming is the continuation of time and of sorrow.  Becoming does not contain Being.  Being is always in the present and being is the highest form of transformation.  Becoming is merely modified continuity, and there is radical transformation only in the present, in being.
